The detail on his robe is incredible — the red fabric has such a rich, deep color in person. The straw sandals and blue pants really complete the look, it’s a perfect display piece for any fan.

The little shamisen in his hands is what sold me—it’s so finely detailed, you’d think he’s about to pluck a string. The straw sandals and the red robe look straight from the movie, and the bun hair is perfectly sculpted. I’m just glad I snagged this convention exclusive before it sold out.

Finally, a Kubo figure that actually has his shamisen — the detail on the strings and his straw sandals is really nice for the price. Only minor gripe is the paint on his robe could be a bit cleaner along the edges. Still, a great pickup for any fan of the movie.
