SmartMax Start (23 pcs)

My toddler loves clicking the big magnets together – they’re satisfyingly chunky and stick perfectly. The 23 pieces give us plenty to build with, and I feel safe knowing there’s no choking hazard for a one-year-old.

My two-year-old figured out how to snap these together within five minutes, and the strong magnets hold firm enough that she can carry her creation around without it falling apart. It's genuinely impressive that something this simple keeps her engaged for a solid half hour.

The chunky magnetic pieces are easy for my 1.5-year-old to grip, and they click together with a satisfying snap. It’s a solid first building set, though I wish a few more base pieces were included for the price.
