Mego Action Figure 8 Inch - The Flocked Fly

The flocked texture on this 8-inch Fly figure is really well done, capturing the classic monster movie feel perfectly. I love the detailed paint on the tiny human head and the transparent matter-transfer machine accessory. It's a fun, nostalgic piece that looks great on my shelf.

The instant matter transfer gimmick is straight out of the sci-fi classic, and the flocked finish makes him feel like a proper vintage piece. He stands solid on the shelf without tipping, which is more than I can say for some of my other 8-inch figures.

Sculpt is decent but the paint on the eyes is slightly off on mine. The flocking feels nice and the figure stands well, though the articulation is pretty limited for an 8-inch figure.
