The dirt-brown paint job on the Humvee is spot-on for a desert convoy. My son has been staging canyon rescues with the four-by-four and the dune buggy; the metal axles feel sturdy enough to survive a few tumbles.

The little off-roaders have great detail for the price, and the tires actually feel like they'd grip on dirt. They've held up fine after a week of crash-testing around the living room.

My son couldn't stop grinning when he saw the detailed roll cage on the dune buggy—it's a nice tough little toy for his collection. Each car rolls smoothly across our living room floor, and the desert camo paint really stands out.
