フィンセント・ファン・ゴッホ DIYフィギュア ドール - Today is Art Day

Finally got around to painting mine last weekend and the level of detail on the blank figure makes it so easy to bring out Van Gogh's iconic style. The pose is really dynamic, and even with just the basic acrylics I had at home, it turned into a great little desk buddy.

I wasn't sure how the tiny brushstrokes would look on such a small surface, but the sculpted ridges on the jacket really guide the paint where it needs to go. Spent a relaxing afternoon bringing his face and hat to life.

The molded figure has great detail, especially in the face and hat, so it feels satisfying to bring the colors to life. It took me a couple of evenings to finish, but the process was really calming and fun.
