Jeu de Cartes Robotech Ace Pilot

The "evaluate the enemy threat" mechanic really makes each turn feel like a tactical decision, and collecting kills adds a satisfying competitive edge. My group played three rounds back-to-back, and the SDF-1 crew hiring kept everyone engaged.

Been playing this with my group for a few weekends now and the hiring mechanic for the SDF-1 crew adds a nice layer of strategy. The card art captures the anime feel well. Wish the rulebook was a bit clearer on the kill-collecting chain though.

The crew-hiring mechanic is a clever twist, and the threat cards keep things tense. But the rulebook is a bit of a slog to get through, and setup takes longer than the actual game sometimes. It's decent for a Robotech fan night, just not something I'd reach for every week.
