Compare Beyblade X and Burst Quad Drive dual packs side by side. Learn which system suits your play style and budget, with honest trade-offs for each choice.
Quick answer
Choose Beyblade X if you want the newest high-speed Xtreme gimmick and cross-compatible parts; pick Burst Quad Drive if you prefer a lower price point and more customization per top.
System generation matters for future expansion
Beyblade X is the current-generation system with interchangeable blade, ratchet, and bit parts. Burst Quad Drive is from the previous Burst generation, using Armor Tips and Gravity Rings. Parts from one system generally do not work in the other, so your choice locks you into one ecosystem.
If you plan to collect multiple tops and mix parts, Beyblade X offers more ongoing releases and cross-compatibility within its own line. Burst Quad Drive has a smaller active catalog but still provides good variety within its packs.
Price and value per top
The Beyblade Burst Quad Drive Dual Pack is priced at USD 16.89 (compare at USD 25.99), giving you two tops with multiple customization options per top. The Beyblade X Gale Wyvern set costs USD 11.87 (compare at USD 17.99) for two right-spin tops, making it the more budget-friendly entry point.
For a few dollars more, the Jurassic World collab set at USD 21.07 includes two launchers, which saves you from buying them separately if you don't already own a launcher.
Trade-offs at a glance
- Beyblade Burst Quad Drive Dual Pack: Two tops with customizable Armor Tips and Gravity Rings. More parts per top, but uses the older Burst system with fewer new releases. Best for tinkerers who want to adjust each top's behavior without buying extra accessories.
- Beyblade X Gale Wyvern 3-60T & Sword Dran 3-80B Dual Pack: Two right-spin tops in the current X system with interchangeable blade, ratchet, and bit parts. Lower price, but both tops spin in the same direction. Great entry point into the modern Beyblade X line, especially if you already have a launcher and stadium.
- Beyblade X Jurassic World Collab Dual Pack: Includes two right-spin tops and two launchers. Higher price but adds launchers you may need. Tops are cross-compatible with other Beyblade X parts. Choose this if you need launchers and enjoy Jurassic World themes; otherwise, the Gale Wyvern set offers better value.
