Transformers Studio Series Leader Class Rise of the Beasts Scourge

The 31-step transformation is surprisingly smooth once you get the hang of it, and the robot mode articulation makes for some great dynamic poses. The dark metallic paint really makes those red eyes pop on display.

The truck mode looks fantastic on the shelf, and the 31-step transformation keeps me fiddling with it long after I set it down. The robot proportions are surprisingly solid for a Leader class, and the joints hold poses really well during play.

The 31-step conversion is seriously satisfying, locks together tight in both modes. Scourge looks menacing at 8 1/2 inches and the truck mode feels solid enough for my kid to play rough with.
