My son went straight for the drill man mode, and that spinning green dial kept him entertained for ages. The articulation is enough for simple poses without being fragile, perfect for a 7-inch desk buddy.

I was surprised by how solid the figure feels for its size—the articulation in the shoulders and hips lets me pose him fighting Dr. Wily. That drill arm with the green dial actually spins smoothly, which is a fun little detail to play with.

The drill man gimmick actually works smoothly—spinning it up is oddly satisfying. Poseability is decent for a figure this size, and the blue paint looks clean out of the box.
